Relieve that boredom of the summer holidays when they start to drag... A fun game for you of 'name that fruit'. Prizes for getting it right (no cheating. That means you, JP... looking it up on wiki is not allowed)
oh woe for the days when i could rattle off all those names in ecuaspanol, please remind me what the spotty orange thing in front of the plantain is - i know you kind of crack 'em open and then maybe there is seedy stuff inside you can eat. And what is the thing on the back right with the purple stripes? i've definitely eaten at least one of the those...and do the things underneath it have that white flesh with the big black pips? may i have a name for those as well please? thanks for the memories, hope you are jolly! x
The spotty orange thing, that you crack open to suck out the jelly and spit out the hundreds of pips onto the floor, is called granadilla. The purple strpiey thing is Pepina, and those underneath... which ones are you looking at? The cactus fruit (tuna), or the taxos?
well there are a few names for you to be going on with!
espero que todo va bien - im in holiday mode at th mo, with a trip to the GALAPAGOS to look forward to on Friday.... yes. change in the itinerary. cant wait.
