We rode up to the top of Sierra Negra (an active volcano on the south side of Isabela), which was just stunning. Its crater is approx 9 x 7 kilometers. In the middle of this photo, at the back, can you see where it is slightly darker in colour? That's where the last eruption occured in 2005.
