I sat by the light of the candle
closed my eyes
watched the flames dance
across the inside
of my eyelids.
And I listened to this,
most beautiful of poems,
as the words played in my ears.
I recommend you read this when you have a quiet moment, because it demands, or maybe I should say deserves, a little contemplation.
