Llangollen was an incredible experience; the other choirs were astounding. There was a real range of music and style, from Swedish tubas (don't ask), to The White Rosettes in all their sequins, to our very own Chanterelles.
We won our category in the morning, and went on to perform in the Choir of the World 2010 concert. The overall winners, a mixed choir from the Philippines, were fantastic and deserved to win!
There's no feeling like being part of a choir and singing as one. you bond through fear and a shared love for music. You just feel so alive; the music transports you. If you love music at all you should get singing! It's all about the taking part. :D
